The Search

They said I might not be able to have you, 

Even though as a little girl I always imagined you were my baby dolls. 

They said my body may not support you,

Even though I've taken all my vitamins and followed all the rules.

They said I need to consider removing where you would form,

Because the pain has become too severe to bare. 

But I will find you out there in this world that has become not what I expected,

Even if it means finding you in someone else, I don't care where. 

I will hold you and love you and support you just like Mama did for me,

No matter where you come from, whether you are a he or a she.

I will keep in grace, hold onto God, and believe in the good things,

No matter what this pain takes from me.

But I will find you, my child, no matter where you may be.
